Did you know that a positive mindset can help you live longer and boost your immunity?
You know that feeling when you’re constantly thinking that you’ll be happier when you’re slimmer, make more money, have a nicer house? Well, I’ll let you in on a secret – that’s a sure fire way to set yourself up for constant disappointment (I’ll explain more in the challenge!), but you can STILL set goals and be happy in the now.
Let me tell you a little bit about me…
Shit got real in 2012 when my husband and I discovered that we couldn’t make babies when it seemed that everyone else could. We were a healthy couple (or so we thought) and oh, you can just imagine how emotionally tough infertility is. I felt like nobody understood what we were going through, my dignity went down the toilet once the clinic started poking and prodding me, and it felt like month after month, mother nature slapped me in the face with a big fat FAIL.
I finally fell pregnant after years of trying.
And then had a miscarriage.
That was my rock bottom.
I honestly didn’t know how I was going to get out of my funk.
Oh boy did I have to reach inside my soul to find the me who can take on the world, but you know what?
I came out of the experience feeling amazing, inside and out.
Feeling like I could take anything the universe throws at me. Jumping out of bed each morning.
Feeling so grateful for what I have.
And finally, not caring about numbers on the scales or desperately seeking the next quick-fix diet, and liking what I see in the mirror. (Oh, the freedom!)
About the Challenge
Ok, so I can’t change the world in 5 days BUT I can give your mind a kick up the bum and get you on the way to:
- Appreciating the small things in life
- Remembering and recognising the happy moments and memories in your life
- Being grateful for what you have
- Minimising the negative and maximising the positive
All I need is 10 minutes a day for 5 days. That’s all.
Maybe you’re going through a rough patch at the moment and you need someone to help pull you through, or you want to soak up some of the glorious happy vibes of this challenge.
